When you start the app Holidays Calendar for the first time, there are no holidays configured. Therefore the app will automatically bring you to the configuration page where you to choose the holidays to display.

Calendar

The calendar displays all holdays of a year in chronological order. Upcoming holidays are displayed in blue color. Holidays in the past appear grey:

With the arrows (1 and 2) you can switch between the year of the calendar.
By tapping on the action button (3) you can display an action sheet to go to the next upcoming holiday.
With the info button (4) you can switch to the configuration view.
When a holiday is selected the toolbar (5) will display the days left.

Configuration

On the configuration view you see a list of all available categories:

For some categories you will find a sub-category page when you select it:

After choosing a category or sub-category by tapping, a selection page with a list of holiday is displayed:

By tapping on the switch behind the names you can toogle the display of a holiday in the calender on and off.
A holiday is displayed in the calender when the switch is ‘on’.
If the switch is ‘off’ the holiday is not displayed in the calender.

So, enjoy your Holidays Calendar!

Hi, I just moved to Brazil and it would be nice if the app supported at least the Brazilian national holidays.

Any future plans to add Brazilian holidays?

Hi. Great app.

I used your app to load selected holidays to my Default iPhone calendar app and now have a problem.

Question.

When I did the above it loaded year after year acter year of your holidays.

PROBLEM.

How do I change my Default iPhone calendar back to not having all your holidays.

ALL I HAVE NOW IS YEAR AFTER YEAR OF CLUTTER.

PLEASE GIVE STEP BY STEP INSTURCTIONS AND I DON’T WANT TO DELETE THE SCHEDULED EVENTS THAT I HAD BEFORE THE PROBLEM.

It would be nice for those of us in the USA to have when daylight savings time starts and ends in the holiday calendar, see that you have the super owl in, this would be another nice add-in.

I use informant Hd as my calander and your dates are not transferable to it.
Please guide me as to how ??

  the best way would be syncing the holidays with an i.e. Google calendar and the sync this calendar back to Informant. This indirect step in needed, because one app (Holidays Calendar) cannot access data from another app (Informant) directly.
